Common questions about the ROI calculator, answered

How do I use the customer service ROI calculator?

Tidio’s ROI calculator provides insights into your current customer service costs and highlights ways to enhance service efficiency. For precise results, make sure to fill in all the relevant business data.

What data should I enter in the ROI calculator?

  • Average number of visitors: How many new or returning visitors land on your website every month.

  • Average order value: This is the average monetary value of your orders. You can find it in your store’s dashboard or analytics screen as AOV.

  • Number of customer service agents: This represents how many full-time service agents offer support to your customers.

  • Average hourly salary: Represents the typical wage you pay to your full-time employees. If you pay a monthly salary, you can find its hourly equivalent by dividing it by the average number of hours an employee works per month. For a regular full-time employee working 8 hours per day, the average number of hours worked per month would be 160.

  • Average number of orders: Represents the number of orders you receive monthly. You can usually find this value in your store’s Order Reports.

  • Number of customer conversations per agent: The number of unique customer conversations your agents average per month. You can generally find this value in your customer service software.

  • Customer service software cost: The total value of what you’re currently spending on customer service monthly.

How do I interpret my results?

  • ROI: This is the projected return on investment you would get after switching to Tidio.

  • Annual savings on customer service: This represents the monetary value of your customer service savings after switching to Tidio.

  • Total time saved monthly: This is the number of hours your customer service team could save each month by switching to Tidio, giving them more bandwidth to focus on other important tasks beyond handling customer questions.

  • Annual sales uplift: Represents the monetary value of the extra sales you can achieve with Tidio Flows, based on the average uplift we generate for existing customers.

  • Monthly sales uplift: Represents the extra income you could bring in every month with Tidio Flows, based on the average boost we generate for our customers.

How are my results calculated?

We estimate your results by merging your data with the typical sales and support improvements we achieve for our customers. While these projections are achievable, and our team is committed to helping you reach or exceed them, please consider these results as a guide, not a guarantee.
